XEOMIN ® Injections

Look years younger after just 1 session.

Xeomin belongs to the same family of injectable neuromodulators as Botox and Dysport but is a naked form of Botulinum toxin A (Clostridium botulinum bacterium).

It’s formulated without the protein component (which makes it unlikely to cause any allergic reactions) and does not have to be refrigerated.

It works by temporarily altering the nerve impulses of the injected muscles, thus eliminating contraction-induced wrinkles.

Like Botox, Xeomin is used for a wide spectrum of facial lines and wrinkles: crow’s feet, frown lines, marionette lines (below the corners of the mouth), bunny lines (across the top of the nose), forehead lines, smoker’s lines and smile lines.

Although Xeomin is primarily used to reduce the skin wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles, it can also be used to create a lifting effect. There are two groups of muscles on the face that have opposite effects: the ones that pull the skin down (depressors) and those that pull it up (levators). An experienced injector can create a lifting effect by preferentially blocking the depressor muscles.

The procedure lasts 15 min. The incidence of side effects is very low.

Depending on a person, the area of treatment and the injector’s technique, the maintenance treatments might be required every 4-6 months.

Xeomin takes around 1-2 weeks to exhibit the full effect.

There are, of course, some instances when the use of Xeomin is contraindicated.
